The Peanut Line trail follows a former New York Central railroad corridor for about six miles, connecting town parks including Meadowlakes Park and Memorial Park and continuing toward Newstead. The Clarence Hollow Farmers Market sets up along the trail on Main Street.
Buying here: what to know
Some rural parts of town rely on private wells or septic systems – ask, and inspect them. Confirm the school district for the specific address, and if you want land for a pool, barn or addition, check town zoning before you buy.
